Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) registered their fourth win in Indian Premier League(IPL) 2019 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 6 wickets. It was the huge partnership of 114 runs between KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal that saw the team through. They are now at third spot in the points table.

SRH managed to get the early wicket of dangerous Chris Gayle. It was Radhid Khan who got the break through in in the fourth over. However, Rahul and Agarwal played responsibly to take KXIP home. Rahul scored brilliant innings of 71*(53)  with 7 boundaries and one maximum. Agarwal too supported him well with score of 55 with 3 boundaries and 3 sixes. They targeted their bowlers well and were happy to play Rashid out.

After dropping few catches, Vijay Shankar held on to one dismissing Agarwal in the 18th over. David Miller(1) was dismissed in the same over of Sandeep Sharma. It was the next over that saw the dismissal of Mandeep Singh as well. Now the home team needed 11 off the last over, which they chased with a ball to spare.

Earlier in the match, David Warner's 72 took SRH to a fighting total of 150 in 20 overs. Jonny Bairstow(1) was dismissed cheaply early on. It was clear that it was a hard to bat pitch with the amount of total on board with less wickets. Deepak Hooda's cameo in the last over helped SRH to touch the 150 mark.

Scorecard: SRH 150 for 4 in 20 overs (David Warner 72*; Ravichandran Ashwin 4-0-30-1) lost to KXIP 151 for 4 in 19.5 overs (KL Rahul 71*, Mayank Agarwal 55; Sandeep Sharma 4-0-21-2) by 6 wickets.
