The Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) have now topped the points table by defeating Delhi Capitals(DC) in the match 16 of Indian Premier League 2019. It was a complete all-round performance by the team that guided them to victory.

Chasing 130, Jonny Bairstow gave the away team a dream start. He smashed 48 off 28 to make the win easy for the team. However, other batsmen like David Warner(10), Vijay Shankar(16), Manish Pandey(10) and Deepak Hooda(10) were dismissed cheaply, the score was too less to fight for.

It was Yusuf Pathan(9*) and Mohammad Nabi(17*) who finished the game for SRH with 9 balls to spare. For the home team, every bowler other than Chris Morris contributed with a wicket. Axar Patel was the most economical with figures of 4-0-18-1. If Patel had held on to the catch of Bairstow in his first over, we might have a different result.

Earlier in the match, the home team's batting line-up saw a collapse, as they could only manage to put 129 on board. Shreyas Iyer was the top-scorer for them with 43(41) runs. The pitch behaved in the favour of the bowlers in the first innings. Rashid Khan, like most of the times, was the most economical with the ball.

Scorecard: DC 129 for 8 in 20 overs (Shreyas Iyer 43; Mohammad Nabi 4-0-21-2, Rashid Khan 4-0-18-1) lost to SRH 131 for 5 in 18.3 overs (Jonny Bairstow 48; Axar Patel 4-0-18-1) by 5 wickets.
