Virat Kohli became the only second batsman to score 5,000 IPL runs after Suresh Raina. It was in the match 7 of Indian Premier League 2019 between Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) and Mumbai Indians(MI) . He is only behind Raina by few runs, and may go past him if he continues in the same form.

RCB won the toss and elected to field. MI posted a total of 187 in 20 overs. Kohli came to bat at one down, after the wicket of Moeen Ali. He was in sublime touch right from the moment he took his stance. In his innings of 46, he hit six boundaries, before getting out to Jasprit Bumrah in the 14th over.

Kohli achieved this landmark only in his 165th IPL match with an impressive average of 38.26. He will be the key in this run-chase.

  1. Building games teaches you to appreciate good game design, which is why I notice when a platform gets it right. https://stakes.org.in/ has clearly put thought into the user experience. The navigation feels intuitive, and the games load without unnecessary friction. I've spent time with their crash titles, and the mechanics are smooth and responsive. It's also easy to switch between game types without getting lost. The platform runs well on different devices, which is important for testing. For developers like me, that kind of polish matters because it shows the team cares about details. The overall experience is seamless, making it easy to jump in and start playing. It's a great example of thoughtful digital product design.
