IPL 2019: RCB's bad luck in the tournament continues, DC win by 4 wickets

Royal Challengers Bangalore lose their sixth consecutive match in the Indian Premier League 2019 after defeat against Delhi Capitals by 4 wickets. In a hard-to-bat surface they failed to defend 150. Shreyas Iyer starred with the bat for DC with his innings of 67.

Tim Southee managed to get the early break through for RCB in the very first over, getting the wicket of Shikar Dhawan. Prithvi Shaw got to a start, but could not convert it to something big. He was out for 28 in the ninth over. Colin Ingram too made 22 off 21 before getting out to Moeen Ali leg before.

However, Iyer's innings of 67 off 50 won it easily for DC. In his innings he smashed 8 boundaries and 2 sixes before getting out. The match was already out of RCB's reach by then. It was RCB's bowling again that failed. In the death over, RCB managed to pick some quick wickets, but the boat was long sailed.

In the batting it was Virat Kohli with 41 runs before the collapse in the death over started. Kagiso Rabada rose to fame with the ball with 4 for 21. He also gained purple cap in the process with 11 wickets in  6 matches.
