Indian Premier League's(IPL) broadcast has been banned all over Pakistan. Fawad Chaudhry, Information minister of the nation told the reporters that the decision was made due to request from his ministry.

“The Indian broadcaster pulled out of the Pakistan Super League in the middle of the tournament. The Ministry of Information requested the Federal Cabinet to ban the IPL, as India tried to cause damage to our tournament in an organised way,” Chaudhry said.

It was after the attack of Pulwama that Indian company IMG Reliance pulled out from being the broadcast partner for PSL. Talking in a press conference, Chaudhry also commented on team India's gesture of wearing army caps in the third ODI against Australia.

“We think that political differences should not interfere with sport and cultural activities. But we saw that limits were crossed when the Indian team played their match wearing army caps,” he concluded.
